The Thai King
In Bangkok and in Pattaya in Thailand, 'Al Qaeda' operatives often meet with their CIA and MI6 'liaisons'.
(Reported CIA and MI6 links to al Qaeda.)
Bangkok was the site of one of the CIA’s secret rendition prisons.
For many tourists, Thailand means prostitution.
The "Mai Travel" hotel in Pattaya, in Thailand, accommodates almost exclusively Israeli sex tourists.
(What do Israeli sex tourists in Thailand really think? - Haaretz ... )Bangkok
But, the CIA seems to have turned against the 'establishment' in Thailand, partly because the Thai government is seen as being too friendly with China, and not sufficiently 'globalist'.
The globalists are backing Thailand's "red" color revolutions and its leader Thaksin Shinawatra.
A13 draws our attention to the news on 25 April 2011 that: Thai border clashes are sparking coup fears
Thailand has been involved in border clashes with Cambodia.
At the same time there are rumours of a military coup in Thailand.
Thailand is expected to hold elections in July 2011.
The military appear to be keen to prevent a victory by Thaksin and his 'reds'. Bangkok
In February 2011, 10 people died in clashes between Thailand and Cambodia, near the 11th-century Hindu temple of Preah Vihear.
At least 11 people have been killed in the latest (April 2011) fighting 150km west of Preah Vihear at the site of two temples claimed by both Thailand and cambodia.
Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva has backed the Thai army in 'defending Thai territory.'
Thailand's yellow shirts, the pro-government People's Alliance of Democracy have denounced Cambodia.
Thailand's red-shirt leaders, the rebel United Front for Democracy Against Dictatorship, have accused the military of meddling in politics. Bangkok
In 2010, the Thai security forces dispersed thousands of red-shirt protesters, who were holding weeks-long protests in Bangkok.
As many as 91 people were killed in the clashes.
Some suspect 'mysterious forces' of being behind the killings.
Thaksin, in exile, has recently used a video link to address thousands of members of his Puea Thai party.

IS THAILAND NEXT?
Are the folks at the CIA (the Globalists) planning to topple the government in Thailand and put Mr Thaksin back into power?
From landestroyer.blogspot (Warning Signs Over Old Siam):
"Thaksin ... after a promising first term in office, began criminally consolidating power and wealth...
"Throughout the red shirts' publications ... themes include insinuated threats aimed at the monarchy and more recently, calls to emulate uprisings in Tunisia, Egypt, and perhaps most alarmingly, comparisons made between ousting Qaddafi in Libya and Thailand's current prime minster.
"Considering that each one of these nations amongst the 'Arab Spring' are textbook examples of foreign funded subversion, it is telling and troubling indeed that Thailand's red shirts are standing in open solidarity with them.
"Red shirt propaganda can be found online as well, including on the National Endowment for Democracy funded Prachatai website...
"Regarding Thailand's strategic importance to China, it possesses the narrow Kra Isthmus that China would like to develop into a Suez/Panama Canal-like project to shorten trips for its oil laden, China-bound tankers.
"Thailand also serves as an overland conduit, running north and south with a developed rail system connecting Singapore's shipping yards to Laos' capital of Vientiane.
"China has begun the development of a rail system through Laos and the joint upgrading of Thailand's rail system.
"Thailand also is one of the world's largest rice exporters, which makes the nation vital to China's future growth and food security."

It is being reported that CIA and Saudi snipers are killing protestors in Syria, in order to discredit the Syrian government.

The same sort of technique would appear to have been used recently in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya.
There are earlier examples of such CIA activity in Thailand (2010) and Indonesia (1998).

Umar Patek
On 31 March 2011, we learn of the arrest in ABBOTTABAD in Pakistan of Umar Patek, who is suspected of working for the CIA.
ISI claims credit for arrest of Bali bomb suspect
Umar Patek is a member of the "CIA-linked" militant group Jemaah Islamiyah and he is believed to have been involved in the 2002 Bali bombing.
The Pakistan inteligence service ISI claims that it was responsible for the arrest of Patek.Java
According to an ISI officer: "We captured him a few days ago and now ... will ensure that he is taken back to Indonesia."
When asked if it was a joint effort by several intelligence organisations that resulted in the arrest, the officer said: "No, it was entirely the efforts of the ISI."
Patek is a 35-year-old Javanese Arab.
Reportedly he was trained at CIA-Al-Qaeda camps in Afghanistan in the 1990s.
Patek was reportedly killed on 14 September 2006 in the Sulu province of the Philippines. But this report was never confirmed.
Bali Bomb 'mastermind' Al Faruq
In The Age, (We must not get back in bed with Kopassus - theage.com.au), Dr Damien Kingsbury wrote about Moslem militants in Indonesia and their links to the Indonesian military.
Komando Jihad, which became Jemaah Islamiah - was set up by (American trained) Indonesian generals.
Dr Kingsbury wrote: "Kopassus (Indonesian special forces) ...set up the Islamic organisation Komando Jihad ... which has since emerged as Jemaah Islamiah."
What about the 2002 Bali Bomb?
Bali bomb 'mastermind' Al Faruq - 'worked for the CIA.'
Former Indonesian State Intelligence Coordinating Board (BAKIN) chief A.C. Manulang was quoted by Tempo magazine as suggesting that Al-Faruq was a CIA-recruited agent.
Kuwaiti citizen Omar Al Faruq was arrested in Bogor on June 5, 2002 and handed over to US authorities.
Al Faruq was then able to escape from custody.
According to a news story in the Sydney Morning Herald, November 2, 2002:
"Some time around the 30 October 2002, senior officers in the Indonesian military HQ gave a piece of information to a military attache from a Western embassy in Indonesia -the source of explosive used in the October 12 bombing in Bali was the head of the counter-terrorism unit with the army's special forces."
The father-in-law of the officer concerned is Hendropriyono, Indonesia's former spy chief.
The airline manifest of Garuda airlines shows that at least two generals from Jakarta visited Bali three days before the bombings and that they returned to Jakarta one day before the Sari Club was blown up.
This was confirmed by armed forces chief General Sutarto, who claimed that General Djaja Suparman was on vacation, while General Ryamizard Riyacudu, chief of staff, was said to have gone to Bali for health reasons. (Jakarta Post)

On 23 April 2011, we read that Justin Bieber is in Bogor, in Indonesia, at a time of heightened security fears.
Bogor (ANTARA News) - "The Police bomb squad team in Bogor has been alerted to secure the Canadian singer...
"We have deployed the bomb disposal team ... to anticipate any terrorist bomb" said the police Head of Public Relations on 22 April...
"Bogor police have been combing ...the concert locations."
Justin Bieber arrives in Jakarta.
In Indonesia, there have been a number of recent bomb threats and the discovery of explosives intended to blow up a church on Good Friday, the day before Justin Bieber's concert.
(TV Cameraman Arrested in Good Friday Bomb Plot)
"Police have arrested a cameraman from Indonesian television station Global TV who was allegedly recruited to film the foiled Good Friday bomb attack on the outskirts of Jakarta.
"National Police spokesman Chief Comr. Boy Rafly Amar identified the man by his initials, IF.
“He was arrested at Jakarta on Friday,” Boy told the Jakarta Globe on Saturday.
"He said P had also asked IF to invite foreign cameramen to film the explosions, saying he 'wanted the blast to be broadcast internationally.'...
"P, one of 20 people detained in connection with the bomb plots, has been identified as the husband of Deni Karmelita, a civil servant working at the National Narcotics Agency (BNN)."
Indonesia is the world's biggest 'Moslem' country and is of great strategic importance.
China and Indonesia are becoming closer friends.
China, Indonesia experiencing closer relationship
So, the CIA may be using its Islamist friends to stir up trouble?
President Yudhoyono and family.
The latest Moslem country to be attacked by Wikileaks is the biggest of them all - Indonesia.
Can we now expect some violence?
In 2009 there were bombs attacks on hotels in Jakarta; more recently there have been attacks on churches; on 15 March 2011 a parcel bomb targeted moderate Muslims.
On 11 March 2011, we read that Indonesia, now run by General Yudhoyono, is as corrupt as ever. (Asia Sentinel - Explosive Wikileaks Cables Nail Yudhoyono)
The Wikileaks cables may be intended by the CIA to destabilise Indonesia, and topple its president.
Under Indonesia's current president, General Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Indonesia has been friendly with China, Russia and Iran.
China takes an interest in Indonesia's natural resources, including oil and coal.
China has increased its trade and defence ties with Indonesia.
Indonesia's powerful Army Special Force, Kopassus, has cooperated with China. (RI vows to remain neutral amid global power shift )
Indonesia and China signed a strategic partnership during the visit of President Hu Jintao to Jakarta in 2005.
"You are next!"
According to the allegations in the diplomatic cables:
1. President Yudhoyono has got prosecutors and judges to protect the bad guys.
2. He has used the spooks to spy on rivals.
3. His wife wife and family have enriched themselves.
4. He has protected Taufik Kiemas, husband of former president Megawati Sukarnoputri.
Taufik is believed to have profited from various big infrastructure projects.
Taufik is now speaker of Indonesia's parliament.
5. Yudhoyono's former vice-president, Jusuf Kalla, paid "enormous bribes" to win the chairmanship of Golkar, Indonesia's largest political party.
6. Yudhoyono got cabinet secretary Sudi Silalahi to "intimidate" at least one judge in a 2006 court case arising from a fight for control of former president Abdurahman Wahid's National Awakening Party (PKB).
7. Yudhoyono has used the Indonesian State Intelligence Agency (BIN) to spy on both his allies and opponents.
He got the intelligence service to report on Golkar presidential candidate General Wiranto.
At a meeting of Yudhoyono's cabinet, BIN chief Syamsir described Wiranto as a "terrorist mastermind."
8. Yudhoyono has links to Chinese-Indonesian businessmen, especially Tomy Winata, an alleged underworld figure and member of the "Gang of Nine" or "Nine Dragons," a leading gambling syndicate.
In 2006, Agung Laksono, now Yudhoyono's Co-ordinating Minister for People's Welfare, told US embassy officers that TB Silalahi "functioned as a middleman, relaying funds from Winata to Yudhoyono."
Tomy Winata reportedly used the entrepreneur Muhammad Lutfi to give money to Yudhoyono.
Yudhoyono appointed Lutfi chairman of Indonesia's Investment Co-ordinating Board.
Senior State Intelligence Agency official Yahya Asagaf also told the US embassy Tomy Winata was trying to cultivate influence by using a senior presidential aide as his link to the president's wife, Kristiani Herawati.
9. In 2006, one presidential staff member told US embassy officers that Kristiani's family members were "specifically targeting financial opportunities related to state-owned enterprises."
The President was "witting of these efforts, which his closest operators (e.g. Sudi Silalahi) would advance, while Yudhoyono himself maintained sufficient distance that he could not be implicated."
The president's wife is "the president's undisputed top adviser."
"Members of the President's staff increasingly feel marginalised and powerless to provide counsel to the President."
Yahya Asagaf of the State Intelligence Agency said the first lady's opinion is "the only one that matters."
"Indonesia has held successful, free and fair elections; has weathered the global financial crisis; and is tackling internal security threats."
But, a series of political scandals in 2009 and 2010 seriously damaged Yudhoyono's political standing.
Yudhoyono was increasingly "paralyzed" as his popularity diminished.
"Unwilling to risk alienating segments of the parliament, media, bureaucracy and civil society, Yudhoyono has slowed reforms. He is also unwilling to cross any constituencies ...
"Until he is satisfied that he has shored up his political position, Yudhoyono is unlikely to spend any political capital to move his reform agenda, or controversial aspects of US -Indonesia relations, forward."

Bouazizi
The revolts in North Africa appeared to begin on 17 December 2010.
That was when, in the Tunisian town of Sidi Bouzid, a municipal official, Fedia Hamdi, allegedly slapped 26-year-old fruit vendor, Mohamed Bouazizi.
Mohamed Bouazizi then apparently set himself alight, and the Arab world was set on fire.
On 19 April 2011, we learn that a Tunisian court has dropped the case at the heart of the protests
The case against Fedia Hamdi was closed after the vendor's family withdrew its original complaint.
Faouzi Hamdi, the brother of the accused municipal officer, claims his sister never slapped Bouazizi.
Faouzi Hamdi said the decision to throw out the case showed that in the new Tunisia the judicial system "is now independent."

On the morning of 17 December 2010, Mohamed Bouazizi reportedly had an argument with a municipal inspector Ms. Faida Hamdy.
Some reports erroneously call Faida Hamdy a policewoman.
Bouazizi allegedly wrestled with Faida Hamdy.
Faida Hamdy allegedly slapped Mohamed in the face, spat at him, and made a slur against Bouazizi's deceased father. ("Peddler's martyrdom launched Tunisia's revolution".)
According to the new York Times ("Slap to a Man’s Pride Set Off Tumult in Tunisia"):
"Ms. Hamdy, arrested on orders from the now-deposed president himself, is in jail in another town.
"Her colleagues maintain that she is honest and did not take bribes.
"Her supervisor, who requested anonymity for fear of being beaten in the streets, said an investigation found that Ms. Hamdy had never slapped Mr. Bouazizi.
"'Do you really believe a woman can slap a man in front of 40 other people and no one would react?' he said."
Mohamed Bouazizi
Reportedly, Bouazizi went to the local Governor to complain, but the Governor would not see him.
Mohamed then "left a message for his mother on his Facebook page."
The message read: "I'm travelling, mother... I'm travelling and I ask who leads the travel to forget." (Mohamed Bouazizi - Wikipedia)
Around noon, Mohamed reportedly set himself alight with 'paint thinner' or 'petrol', depending on which source you read.
Reportedly, he was taken to a hospital specialising in burns.
On 31 December it was reported that doctors at the hospital where Mohammad was being treated said 'there were positive prognostic factors and that his condition was improving'.

Mannoubia, Mohamed's mother is reported as saying: "The doctors told me that he should be fine."
Reportedly, Mohamed died on January 2011.
According to one report, Mohamed Bouazizi "set himself on fire outside the governor's office". ( Mohamed Bouazizi.)
According to another report, he "set fire to himself at the bus station." (Tunisian riot town stands firm in its fury)
According to this account Mohamed had decided to go to Tunis by bus.
Mohamed's facebook page read: "I'm travelling, mother... I am now going and I will not be coming back... I'm travelling and I ask who leads the travel to forget."
Reportedly, when he arrived at the bus station he found that he had no money.
He then set himself on fire.

There have been reports that Mohamed Bouazizi still alive? s
Former president Ben Ali visits 'Mohamed' in hospital.
Mohamed 'sold fruits and vegetables on the streets in Sidi Bouzid' in Tunisia.
The media has reported that Mohamed had a university degree in computer science.
His sister, Samia Bouazizi, has stated that Mohamed never graduated from high school.

In his late teens, Mohamed quit school.

"It was reported that Bouazizi had recently broken up with his girlfriend."
(Slap to a Man’s Pride Set Off Tumult in Tunisia)
After Mohamed's argument with the official, the protests grew.
"Mr. Zaydi, a high school student, slept during the day, and then he and his friends would take on the police at night."
At the same time, news of the unrest was spread on the Internet by people like Shamseddine Abidi, a 29-year old interior designer who posted videos and updates to his Facebook page.
A journalist from Al Jazeera was one of Mr. Abidi’s Facebook friends, and quickly the Arabic channel ... carried the news abroad. ("Slap to a Man’s Pride Set Off Tumult in Tunisia".)
