At the UK's Financial Times, James Mackintosh has explained that the USA's wealthy elite got good news on 7 December 2010. (The Short View - Good news comes in threes)
On that day it was announced that the tax cuts for the super-rich would continue.
The US has "abandoned any pretence" that it is trying to balance the books.
Inflation is likely to rise.
"The total cost of the tax cuts will be $1,000bn over two years."

According to Li Daokui, an academic member of China's central bank monetary policy committee:
"The fiscal (government spending) situation in the United States is much worse than in Europe.

America's decline could be seen to have started when the military-industrial-narco complex embarked on the Vietnam War or the Iraq War.
Alfred W. McCoy is professor of history at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Among the points made:
1. The US Empire could collapse within 15 years.

7. American leadership in technological innovation is on the decline.
The World Economic Forum ranked the United States 52nd in the quality of its university math and science instruction in 2010.
8. The dollar may cease to be the world’s reserve currency.
Big US deficits have been caused partly by continual wars.
9. The US may be forced to pull U.S. forces back from hundreds of overseas bases.
10. Russia and Iran control much of the world's gas and oil.
The US has done too little to develop alternative sources.
11. A New World Order?

ASSANGE'S WIKILEAKS - PETER WRIGHT'S SPYCATCHER
In 1987, a British spook called Peter Wright wrote a book called Spycatcher.
This book appeared to give away a number of secrets. But most of the information was old and already known.
The brains behind this book was said to be Lord Victor (Ted) Rothschild. (aangirfan: MI5 and MI6)
Spycatcher diverted attention away from 'evidence that Rothschild had given away secrets to Israel, and Russia'.
Half-hearted attempts to prosecute Peter Wright turned the book into an international bestseller.

Victor Rothschild 'stole all major UK/US weapons developments in the Second World War, including the atomic bomb'. Rothschild, 'was involved in so many aspects of spying that he seemed like a super-agent, sabotaging every Western intelligence initiative for 20 years after the war'. We are not the only people to be suspicious of Wikileaks.

Peter Wright's Spycatcher diverted attention away from Lord Victor Rothschild.

1. The plan involves giving the leaker something dramatic (but already well-known) to get attention and build his credibility.
2. The 'leaked' documents, generally speaking, strongly support every single state department agenda, from invading Pakistan, regime change in North Korea, regime change in Iran, and supporting the role that Israel is playing in destabilizing the Middle East.
3. In the near future, these documents will help build the pre-text for the narrative that we have to force regime change on various targeted nations.
Imagine Dick Cheney’s forged 'Yellow Cake from Niger' document being 'leaked' by Wikileaks and praised by the likes of Daniel Ellsberg, Amy Goodman, and Glenn Greenwald….
4. Wikileaks disclosures may be used to justify the invasion of Iran.
5. The following is top journalist Fareed Zakaria, in a CNN video, explaining how the Wikileaks documents actually make him feel better about the state department:
1. The leaks don't show the state department doing anything nafarious.
"In these cables there are no stories of coups or attempted assasinations or secret deals."
2. "I have to confess that the level and quality of analysis in these cables is a lot better than I would have guessed.
3. Arab Leaders "have been urging Washington to do something about Iran including using military force."

4. There is 'the odd attribution' to an Arab leader of a remark on Iran being an 'existential threat.'

Too, too true - same source, different vehicle and venue, all helping pave the road to yet another needless war in Israel’s service, this time against Iran.

US Military scientists have been developing the use of sharks as weapons. (Pentagon develops brain implants to turn sharks into military ...)
The United States Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (Darpa) in Arlington, Virginia, has been researching the use of electronic implants to control the movement of sharks.
Boston University has developed brain implants that can influence the movements sharks by "steering" them using a phantom scent.Electrodes are attached to the region of the shark brain associated with scent detection.
When the stimulus is to the right side of the olfactory centre the fish turn right, when it is left, the fish swim left.
According to New Scientist Magazine: "By remotely guiding sharks' movements, the military hopes to transform the animals into stealthspies, perhaps capable of following vessels without being spotted. The Pentagon hopes to exploit the ability of sharks to glide quietly through the water, sense delicate electrical gradients and follow chemical trails."
A shark has been at work in Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt.
There is speculation that Mossad may have placed the shark in the area.
Mohamed Abdel Fadil Shousha, the regional governor, has claimed it is not "out of the question" that Israel planned the shark attacks on tourists to hurt the Egyptian economy.
He said: "What is being said about the Mossad throwing the deadly shark in the sea to hit tourism in Egypt is not out of the question. But it needs time to confirm."

Speaking on the TV program "Egypt Today", "Captain Mustafa Ismail, a diver in Sharm El Sheikh," said that the sharks involved in the attack are ocean sharks and do not live in Egypt's waters.

Ismail said that he recently got a call from an Israeli diver in Eilat telling him that they captured a small shark with a GPS (Global Positioning System) planted in its back.
"Why would these sharks travel 4000 km and not have any accidents until they entered Sinai waters?" asked Ismail.

In Australia, as in North America and Europe, kids have been beaten and raped in children's homes.
The top people turn a blind eye.
In 1956, the UK government's John Ross led a fact-finding committee investigating Australian children's homes to which British children had been sent.
Ross found horrid conditions in the 26 institutions he visited and wanted some of them blacklisted.
The Australian Government asserted that standards of care were OK.
It ignored the Ross Committee’s findings and continued to send vulnerable children to blacklisted institutions.
Rapes and beatings continued.
Box Hill Boys' Home
On 7 December 2010, we read about serious child abuse in Australian children's homes, run by the Salvation Army. (Salvation Army abuse)
Brian Cherrie was repeatedly raped inside the Salvation Army's Box Hill Boys' Home.
"The children's home where I grew up is still owned by the Salvation Army ... and is worth tens of millions of dollars," he said.
"These churches and charities made a lot of money on the back of our misery and they need to cough up and pay redress to all forgotten Australians."
Alfred Stirling said of his time in Bayswater Boys' Homes: "I'd get the crap beaten out of me, and then raped ... it was hell."
The Salvation Army has now said sorry for the abuse of children in its care up to the 1990s.

In May 2010 it was revealed that, while Transport Minister in New South Wales, the married David Campbell used a ministerial car to visit Ken's of Kensington, a gay sex club in Sydney. (Australian MP resigns over sex scandal)
Ken's of Kensington has facilities for "sex on the premises, including private cubicles and specially-themed fantasy rooms."
There has been speculation that Campbell's personal life could have been used to blackmail him while he was Police Minister in 2007 and 2008.
In 2008 the former New South Wales Police Minister Matthew Brown was forced to resign after dancing semi-naked on a green leather sofa and simulating a sex act.
In 2008, the former New South Wales Aboriginal Affairs Minister Milton Orkopoulos was jailed for child sex.
In 1999, two journalists from Australia's Sun-Herald claimed to have seen evidence of the ritual abuse of children.
They interviewed six mothers whose children had disclosed experiences of SRA and organised abuse in New South Wales.
The children's disclosures were corroborating, although they had never met one another, and they had been able to draw representations of "satanic" ritual sites which were similar to ritual sites uncovered by police on the central coast of New South Wales. In the late 1980s, a number of children at a daycare centre in the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia, began disclosing experiences of organised and ritualistic sexual abuse to their parents and the police.[3]
Their disclosures included instances in which they were taken in a car from the creche to a nearby house, undressed by adults and sexually assaulted, video-taped and filmed while naked, and urinated and defecated upon by adults.

In 2002, Chief Commissioner Christine Nixon refers complaints about the mishandling of the case by police to the Victorian Ombudsman.
An officer from the Ethical Standards Department was stood down a year later from the Ombudsman's investigation for "incompetence" after failing to pass on information from two key witnesses, and claiming that he never spoke to them when phone records proved that he had.
One of the witnesses referred to a tape of child pornography showing men in police uniforms sexually assaulting children from the daycare centre, however, this lead was never followed up by the police.

The principal of a private college on the Mornington Peninsula repeatedly told the Department of Human Services that a 12-year-old boy disclosed ongoing sexual abuse by an organised group of men wearing police uniforms.
According to the principal, all records of the child's complaint vanished.
A Victoria Police spokesman said he was not aware that files had disappeared. The police declined to press charges, saying the boy had been "too well groomed" by the pedophiles and probably would not testify in court.[8]
Sexual abuse was common at Bindoon Boys Town, in Australia.

In the two decades after World War II, the UK government took around 10,000 children from UK Children's Homes and sent them to Australia.
Many of these children were to become a form of slave labour.
Some of the children ended up at Bindoon Boys Town.
At Bindoon there were regular floggings and there was regular child sexual abuse.
Former Bindoon boy John Hennessy speaks with a stutter.
He recalls being stripped naked and publicly flogged at Bindoon.

Snell had to get up before 4am to milk the cows and had to work until dark.
"You had no one to turn to," says Snell.
Outsiders would take some boys out for the day.

At Bindoon there was no teaching and several former inmates are illiterate.

A. Assange fits all the specifications of a phony rebel, dished up to the public so that we eventually accept the silencing of whistleblowers and the closure of truth-related websites, all in the name of national security.
A few notes of my observations:
1) If Assange was truly rogue, the mainstream media would simply black him out.
2) Assange accepts the official version of the events of 9/11. Red flag.
3) The finances of WikiLeaks have been described as "opaque."

4) The overly-emphasized "CIA is after Assange" story in the media rings false.
The CIA does not advertise its own agendas and missions, and the media rarely intrudes on their discretion. But here we have something like Wile E Coyote and the Roadrunner. What's wrong with this picture?
5) The recent (last week) NYT profile of Assange was originally bylined by Eric Schmitt, then the names were changed.
Assange has used Schmitt in the past to communicate.
Schmitt is a senior writer on terrorism and national security for the NYT, and is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations!
Red and Black - Satanic.
7) The WikiLeaks document release reminds many of Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers. Remember, Ellsberg worked for Internal Security Affairs.
He was a spook.
Ellsberg himself has recently come out to say he thinks the CIA may be targeting Assange. Oh, please.
8) The information that has come to light in the massive document release is not particularly groundbreaking, and as such, fits the description of a "limited hang-out."
The timing, too, scarcely a week before elections, is worth noting.
(I tried three times to post a one-paragraph comment on the NYT Assange profile, suggesting WikiLeaks was disinfo. The moderators turned it down twice, as the comments thread ballooned from 106 into the 400s, with everyone pro and con Assange but swallowing him whole as the real thing. After a direct appeal to the mods on my third attempt, they posted it shortly before locking the thread.)

D. Funny how Assange and Ellsberg gave a press conference last Saturday at a hotel located "a stone's throw" from MI6, where yesterday spy chief Sir John Sawyers gave the first public speech in MI6's 101-year history, defending secrecy in the war against terror.
“Secrecy is not a dirty word,” he said. “Secrecy is not there as a cover-up. Secrecy plays a crucial part in keeping Britain safe and secure.”
Both press conferences were written up in the NYT by John F. Burns.
It's always interesting to learn a little about the guys who write these stories, right?
Burns studied Russian at Harvard, Chinese at Cambridge, and later Islamic history at Cambridge. He served as bureau chief in Moscow 1981-84, and is currently London bureau chief. He is married to a woman who is currently the NYT Baghdad bureau chief.
